Privacy Policy

Data usage & Protection.

As an indie developer, I value privacy as much as you do. My goal is to build tools that help you work, not tools that watch you work. Here is how I handle data at GitTech.

1. Zero Data Retention

The GitHub Actions provided by GitTech run entirely within your own GitHub environment. I do not host your code, I do not see your secrets, and I do not store your logs. Once an action finishes running, it leaves no trace on any server I control.

2. Minimal Permissions

Every action is designed to require the bare minimum permissions necessary to function. If an action only needs read access, I will never ask for write access. You have full control over the tokens used in your workflows.

3. Third-Party Services

  • Gumroad

Payments and license fulfillment are handled securely by Gumroad. I never see your credit card details.

  • GitHub

Authentication and repository access are handled via GitHub's OAuth and invite system. I only store your GitHub username to manage repository invites.

4. Analytics

I collect minimal, anonymous usage data on the GitTech website to understand which products are popular. This data is not linked to your identity or your GitHub data.
